Local farmers are inclined to invest in the renovation and maintenance of existing agricultural machinery rather than to order new or used ones. This is evidenced by the result of a survey conducted jointly by the Avito.Ru platform and AA-P.ru (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear desire to increase the service life of equipment: farmers have begun to treat it more carefully, naturally, the need for agricultural spare parts and timely service is growing. Based on Avito data, in 2024, the demand for components increased by 7 times compared to the previous year, and the supply increased by 87%. The TOP cities with a record increase in demand for components for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a developed agricultural sector.
According to information received from the Pole website, there is a 6.5-fold increase in the interest of agricultural producers in parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Shoppers now prefer a practical and, more importantly, secure way to purchase goods online. Here it is immediately clear who is the supplier of spare parts, and at the same time full assistance is guaranteed, starting with the selection of goods and ending with the delivery of the order. At the same time, the trend is the leasing of agricultural machinery, the demand for which is increasing annually by an order of magnitude, especially taking into account state support.
Based on the information selected from the Avito portal, starting from 2024, about 145000 offers for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were presented on this site. Of this volume, more than 117000 ads concerned the sale of brand new parts. The most popular parts in the Russian Federation this year were bodies, attachments, booths, platforms, as well as components of hydraulic systems. The head of the Spare Parts thematic area on the Avito.ru platform reports that against the backdrop of the import substitution policy, the agricultural sector is showing active growth and is in constant need of high-quality specialists, equipment, machinery and components.
Earlier, the press releases of the Association noted a decrease in the volume of tractor supplies in Russia this year. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, domestic agricultural producers have reduced the volume of orders for the main types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain significant in the current year, 2025.
